When you use Sift to optimize fonts:

• Your font files are processed entirely within your browser using WebAssembly
• No font data is transmitted to any external server
• No font data is stored after you close or refresh the page
• We cannot see, access, or recover any fonts you process

Local Storage

Sift uses your browser's localStorage for one purpose only:

• Theme preference — We save whether you prefer light or dark mode so your preference persists between visits

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings. This data never leaves your device.

Analytics & Tracking

Sift does not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts that collect user data. We don't track your usage, behavior, or any other personal information.

Cookies

Sift does not use cookies. The theme preference mentioned above is stored in localStorage, not as a cookie.

Third-Party Services

Sift uses the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts — For displaying the website's typography. Google may collect anonymous usage data according to their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Pages — For hosting the website. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs.
